MBA Screen "Popped" Then Went Black?

Just got a new macbook air yesterday, while watching a youtube video on it tonight, the computer (screen maybe?) "popped" then the screen went black. Nothing I did would get it to turn on again. Note the screen was not off, I could tell it was still on just black. Anyway I held down the power on and forced a shut down and it restarted fine. I just want to know if this is a sign of an issue, or just a fluke. Not a good omen for a brand new laptop in either case. Should I be worried?
