Pope Benedict answers questions in televised Good Friday session. What do you think about his answer?

Obviously, If there was a god who cared about his creation he would step up and prevent all the pain and suffering. Wouldn't MOST human beings intervene if they had the power to do so? Any religious excuses as to why god doesn't do anything is just that...an excuse to try to make you feel better and continue to give money to the collection plate. And for those who say satan is the ruler, how can a god that is suppose to have compion for humans and animals just stand by and watch when he supposedly has the power to act? Sorry, no religious reason would ever make sense. Religion is Not for me.
