You can and should I think sign up for section 8. Not that it's a great thing to do but you don't really have a choice. They pay most of your rent, like really. Most of it. Or all if you find a cheap apartment I guess. You should work until you have the baby, you're young so you probably won't have any problems but you never know. As far as money goes babies aren't all *that* expensive, especially if you use cloth diapers and feed. Seeing as how you'll be working though you'll need bottles eventually for when you back. Also a pump, the initial costs is what you need to worry about, the carseat, etc. You may get some things at your baby shower though if you have one! Good luck!
