Are humans by nature driven to violence or do we drive it into ourselves?

I would not say it is our nature in that we were not preprogrammed for this. But it is the sinful nature that makes us want things for ourselves and encourages us to take it by force, as opposed to waiting for it, or finding a win-win solution that benefits both parties.
